"Isolation or democracy" (under the guns) - Update

Contrary to common belief widely spread by Croatian diplomacy, the ICTY, and some media, Croatia, via its foreign policy, had a more decisive role in the attacks against Croats in Bosnia than helping the only people that was only defending itself in that region.

"I thought I was in Africa"

I updated my latest article with the link on Kupreskic case, which was declared "legal" the day after by the former Minister of Exterior Granic (HTV), although he previously said in a report to the Parliament commission that "Croatia does not wish and is not ready to become the eternal hostage of the happenings in Bosnia and Herzegovina" (1994-95)! How come Croatian diplomacy authorized the later attacks against Croatians in Bosnia, if it had nothing to do with Bosnia?

Most curiously, no authority or media ever addressed  the incident in Jajce (to mention only one!), when the disarmed members of the OS/MOD etc. of Bosnian origin were sent to "vote" -- all their paperwork done via the UN offices in Zagreb (!), in agreement with the ministry of Exterior etc. --, and were "welcomed" by being surrounded in a surprise attack by the UN land and air forces ready to fire on them. Disarmed, and on their own land! Who might have authorized such a democratic "voting" procedure after the war? Who was able to impose total silence about it, ever after? That was "legal", too. It was a true humiliation, that we can never forget. The result of "diplomatic" effort.

After the incident, for they could not meet the challenge, fully disarmed in Zagreb, and quite shocked by the "welcome" in Jajce, Croatians were issued "The Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia" certificates in the facilities of AVNOJ! ETC. ETC.

If Croatian diplomacy pushed the authorities to sacrifice, "unconditionally", the innocent victims to The Hague, as no democracy in the world has ever done, and political elites more or less quietly consented to it, the only logical explanation is that some "big" guys in diplomacy had their fingers in the tragedies of the war, in so many incidents, and particularly in sealing the post-war chaos; hence, they prefer to accuse whomever else, for they would not like to be a hostage of their own grave mistakes in playing with the destinies of the people. Business is business for them, and bloody profitable...

"Post-communism": The Republic of Croatia gave the official name to the Croatians of Bosnia…. but sold their Bosnia! (as everything else)

PHOTO MVPEI (2004)

  VoC, 19 Dec 2009

"Isolation or democracy"

Intro

When I questioned, in the late 1990s, via some extensive articles and analysis, Milan Djukic's imperative of "democracy or isolation" -- i.e., Soros et al's regional initiatives, the "unconditional cooperation" with the ICTY, of which Soros and Croatian government are declared (at least initial) sponsors and co-founders, "democracy" under communist veil, and so on, and on -- several media riposted, in bold titles, "Against the government", "Against diplomacy", "Against Granic", while at places, it was especially "Against the opposition" (mid-July 1998). Since then, things went only down for Croatia. But, we see all too well what it is, in deed.  Now, most corruption affairs are quickly resolved (Christmas is coming only for those, what a gift!), whatever the evidence. And whatever the evidence, the innocent soldiers (commanders!) are tried in endless political processes: Imagine trying the US or Canadian top commanders for the most recent affairs concerning Afghanistan. So much about "democracy" of Croatian diplomacy and the ICTY. It only initiated the worst passions in the region, and instituted huge injustices. And quite many "overnight" millionaires.

Hence, I decided to translate my new Croatian article in English, "against" whomever it may be, for it might put some more light on the origins of treason and its repercussions in the region:

"Post-communism": The Republic of Croatia gave the official name to the Croatians of Bosnia…. but sold their Bosnia! (as everything else)

We can only wonder how those guys were credible to negotiate the peace, even via the ICTY, while instituting a perpetual chaos. Belgrade is omitted from this view, for Belgrade would never succeed in reverting the truth as Croatian "most capable politicians/diplomats" did. It was time we unpacked some myths and saw how...

8 Nov 2009

About my dear enemies,

In spite of my generosity, I cannot make as great concession to the enemies of this website as to close any of my dear pages (except for website development/restructuring purposes). Hence, they've only got a new "Spying" page (already among top read in VoC's stats) that explains in more details the "principles" of their inherent non-accountability and their "skill" in imposing a compliant silence over all their wrongdoings. Some things are too base to deal with, but they're part of imposing their "might", thus, they cannot be avoided.

Most important: Things marvelous keep going. I cannot protect this website from their rage but I can protect it from my own sins (particularly of those of omission) and resume a honest reporting service whenever I can afford some spare time for it. Let's be assured, while they're getting only worse, VoC can only get better.

Once they're out of influence sphere in Croatia etc., I'll drop this language that proved to have an ultimate authority with them, and resume practicing of my dear French (and perhaps even Croatian, one never knows...).

The country that went nearly silent over "Western Balkan" junctions (and removal of it best soldiers) -- so to create the jungle of its social, economic and political order, to the point that everyone admits and yells today, only today, that Croatia's national security has been truly threatened, -- refuses to join up with European Slovenia (and EU).

It has a difficulty with the word "junction". Voila, VoC assists you once more: For those who speculate on the meaning of "junction":

ENGLISH   REAL CRIMINALS WILL NEVER FACE JUSTICE?
HDZ's friends (again)

Photo HDZ USA (Miomir Zuzul and Frank Bilaver)

And a little "thank-you card" to their friend "orsy" Ivica Ban from Dubrovnik:

13 Sep 2009

"Real criminals will never face justice"

Croatians still seek to appease the enemies that placed them under vestigial but powerful reign of communists. It means to destroy the defense effort, paid with so much innocent blood, and to maintain or re-invent continuity of old communist services, usually described as "antifascist," on which particularly relied the intermediaries of US policy. The "elected dictators" and false elites -- used to the old communist practice that still costs many sacrifices -- create false links with traditional Croatian values, ably reverse the truth, the individual qualities, and accusations : They're quick to attach all that they do wrong to those who previously opposed their wrongdoing. It became a "model" of Croatian democracy, initialized by multifaceted, often non-transparent parties of influence who promised that the real criminals would never face justice.

When a "liberal phase" is interpolated into their system of deception, toward so-called democracy in the post-communist countries, the deeds of evil become "perfect": All kinds of abuses and perversions are permitted.

That's post-communist, modern-day Croatia.

--------------

My website received the threats from a lawyer in Dubrovnik Ivica Ban "Orsat" saying that the idiots might be sent to me within 24 hours if he wished so, and if that were his job, for I wrote against Zuzul, Jurica, Sanader etc. Accompanied with daily insults which he promised to continue as long as my website is on. He also wished that the emails largely distributed by HDZ-USA (when they "ratified the NATO"), which contain his insulting stories on me, be removed from my website (posted on VoC's lobbying-money-laundering/amac-rb page, although he, too, emailed them around persistently!), otherwise he won't stop with abusing of my website material, writing under my initials, my name, sending insulting daily emails.... He says it's all a minor thing compared to what I've done to them by my writing!? I don't reply to his email unless it's a public domain for all to see, but now on, everything will be exposed at VoC. If my writing was that effective at revealing the crimes : Thanks for your pains, I say.

Croatian "elites" of all stripes are well aware of such 7-year practice (and of a website devoted to insulting me), but they only congratulate him for being such a maniac, when it doesn't concern them. Normally, such practice ends up in complying with silence: HDZ helps them.

I can anticipate, from the ongoing pattern in Croatia, that the government support will rely on even worse characters who will be of even higher honorable professions than this lawyer or that "HDZ-USA" coordinator. They received full support of ex-prime minister who appointed his successors himself, they please with their abuses also those gambling and corrupt ex-diplomats from Dubrovnik to Zagreb. They ridicule as "failed" those students whose careers were destroyed by corrupt professors and deans who trade with the exams and ask students to pay for their obstructions, while they develop huge businesses using their educational position, from Sarajevo to Zagreb, so to foster political, business and education links in an organized criminal web. It takes perfect idiots, thieves, gangsters, and manipulators to persuade the public, domestic and international, in their ruling with intelligence and logic.

I also admit that the way of intimidating the opponents is not easy to address, but I don't intend to embrace their "liberalism" or "democracy" for they should be able to develop some art of "eloquence" and oppose my writing without insults and abuses. They encourage others, even with minor disagreement, to find refuge in similar practice, whenever the argument is lacking. Wrong address.

Their strategies of "persuasion" surpassed the well-known communist mythology and practice, but HDZ elites always wished to push the discussion down to such "anonymous" level (that of Ivica Ban "Orsat", Frank Bilaver, "gandalf", "divlji cvit"..) -- so let them be, I will address them and reveal the secret of their underground, administrative skill. As I should know pretty well who continually runs Croatian underground, it seems to be vain to expect some support from the current Croatian "elites."

I never met those idiots, but I could see from the newspapers and their emails and websites who some among them are. Why would they be addressing me so? For cowards among Croatian (ruling) elites are too busy to state what bothers them with my writing?

If they destroyed my career, it doesn't mean I will ignore or forget it, as my (former) friends advised, all the way while receiving such insults -- every day. They should tell me why everything is permitted against me and my website and how they avoided it. For they can pay for it? For they're without flaws? For they can comply with treason? For they can extract the wealth from Croatian institutions (for which we sacrificed a wholly lot) and re-invest it in their impunity and political campaigns? For Croatia is so divided that only those who plundered it and who enriched themselves on our sacrifices matter, we're entirely insignificant to them, we can only serve them and they owe us nothing?

In post-communist Croatia, divisions are perfect, too: We're only to comply with their perversions. Anyone can be a lawyer in such a country and spend days disturbing and insulting others... If they complain that I refused "communication" with them (for years), contrary to HDZ wishes, voila, I communicate...

Will I really close the website as maniacs like the rich lawyer from Dubrovnik Ivica Ban "Orsat" insists, when the webspace payment expires this November? Will I be paying alone for everything? It's certain that it doesn't work like that any more, for I've never been part of "silent majority" but now when they're all rich enough to divide themselves from us, I don't care. I can observe how they're popping up with their candidatures and wonder why they've been silent against injustices all these years, with all those means in their hands! How did they earn such opportunities for themselves, while others struggle for survival? And still VoC is the main target....?

This is a prime example of slanderous "liberal phase" in post-communist Croatia in its transition toward "democracy" -- similar to "social phase" of former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia toward "communist phase" and even worse, for it blinded the country to its destruction. Such Croatia, a "successful experiment" is to be fought by all means. It's not my Homeland.

A juste titre.

"Antifascism", Medjugorje, CroExpress...

I make a rare exception to post an article joining current Croatian political campaigns, for VoC has received it from Mr. Ivan Prcela, a dear friend. The article on Croatian "antifascism" (that is, communism) has some valuable information though. Apart from what I already said on political campaigns below (and knowing how much one can count on Croatian politicians and "elites" overall, even or especially after having worked hard for Croatia... and being disappointed about it, but that's over), I only wish to repeat to my dear friend Mr Prcela that today's "sacrificing at the Altar of Patria" has been inversed into sacrificing to The Hague (something we can never agree with, although some probably believed that throwing a few human victims, even the most innocent, over there would appease the cold-blooded monster). The article is in Croatian, although I received it under English title.

Mr Prcela and I had also a long correspondence on Medjugorje last weekend, hence I was hesitant to publish it, for I refuse to compare it to Lourdes so far.... Not from theological point of view, of course, but for the same reason of refusing the union in treason etc... for the effects... But the readers can find many good points and it deserves to be published. It's in English. I can only note for general readership that the communist Josip Broz Tito's picture in a Croatian monastery didn't seem to bother any of such writers whom Mr Prcela is addressing...

Finally, VoC has received a kind correspondence from Melbourne, Australia, informing us about their recent newspaper Croexpress and proposing to exchange the links. We're also informed that they're following VoC for years and we heard kind words about it. Hence, In right and service of our noble country, let's click over there and see what's the news.

Croatian overall politics: Unity in treason, reconciliation with treason

I'd like to inform my readers that Croatian "lobbyists" go only more berserk as new presidential elections are approaching and the current Sanader-designated government is stumbling upon their failed “European” politics…. The abuse of my identity and of my site material never stop; the invitations even under my full name to join some online groups to which I was never subscribed are sent even to me!; posting under nicknames on the forums using my name and the links to VoC as if it were me go on for years, even by those who pretend to hold the same views but still they'd need my approval for such use or abuse, wouldn't they?; regular insulting emails and foolish "analysis" where its "anonymous" (HDZ inclined) authors reveal what in fact they do and how they construct the "arguments" (like in UDBa – communist secret service times) and placing my photo in most scandalous profiles and context go very far; and so on and on. They, of course, are exposing their own weaknesses since they can no more do other damage: Their big idol resigned along with other "untouchable" failed politicians or ministers, the irony being that they approached to the European politicians "non-European behaviour"…..

Thus they're difficult to ignore, particularly over the past 4 months when it all intensifies…. Since that's the dominant political culture today, to which it is impossible to reply in a civilized manner, I must warn my readers against all possible senders of such messages…. they should be discarded. My positions and contacts are known to my loyal readers so they shouldn't get in that trap.

But I also wish to calm them down by saying that I'm not interested in Croatian "elections" and "politics" so they can stay away with their typical maniac-style campaigns, for most of the time, the elections were fixed ("today we will choose", and that's it), and they were only to satisfy their foolish passions by exposing all their "civilization" (which they like so much to recall!) and their hatred.

The reasons are following: Things are really messy in Croatia, in just every domain, and most politicians comply in this way or another with fatal deviations in Croatian politics, history or else. Obviously, brutal communist illusions have left deep traces in every field of activity and permitted gross distortions: One can call for civilized attitude (HDZ) but pay a number of maniacs to insult the opponents; one can defend the Cross but promote even French revolution which was to remove It; one can call for surrendering of the generals to the Hague and for the support to the key prosecutors at the top of Croatian government, but preach what kind of honest and patriotic politician Croatia needs; one can speak of unity and reconciliation without extracting the treason from it (of the unity in treason, and reconciliation with treason – which I also propose as the main add to most politicians); one can praise Croatia as predecessor of Vatican Council II (History of Croatian literature) and no one will recognize what it means for history is mostly deformed about just every period; one can promote bi-partial system and suppress all those that don't keep quiet about great national ruin, only to be able to say, look how bad others are, HDZ is better; one can call for national pride against EU requests, but give support to the government at the first difficulty, without tackling in the core of the problem, the very first conditions to enter the EU (accusation of innocent people before The ICTY)….  While it's obvious what kind of criminals and gangsters constructed the "arguments" about Croatia's most honourable people….. And so on and on….

I read a recent article on a Croatian site about Templars which pretty much explains what's going on. It describes the vices – even those of homosexual nature – of which they were accused by … a homosexual (Philippe le Bel)! Naturally, the author doesn't reveal this, his point being that they evolved into franc-maconerie, although it's clear that nowadays Catholic heritage (historical and other sources) has been used and abused of so to be deformed in the name of some non-existent, cruel humanism. As if Croatia has been purged from real sources, and acquires only those revolutionary….

I believe that all this explains to some point why I wish to be left in peace; I don't intend to pretend that such deviations and treason are all fine… If someone still calls "politics" and "state" what's become of Croatia today (with the winning generals in The Hague), without correcting huge injustices and distortions, I consider them funny politicians and that state a funny "state" – "in banana" as former prime minister said, after he worked hard to ruin it…

Is it why VoC has been the favour target by HDZ jackals and their "anonymous" admirers all these years? They can play their "politics" and "campaigns" without VoC, I'm really not interested. I believed no one that calls oneself Croatian would comply with such treason and submit to such politicians; no one would rest until the injustices are corrected, but I was wrong. It's criminal.

Some believe that Medjugorje witnesses of Croatian faith, 30 million pilgrims, more than in Lourdes, my dear friend says, but one is sometimes so alone in Croatian battles…. Innocent Croatians are still in chains, so my dear friends, I don't believe, such (political) heresies would be possible if Medjugorje were indeed what they say… if it were equal to Lourdes.

Isn't it a big time I said goodbye to such Croatia and such injustices and distortions….

Shall we fight them? I think I don't wish to spend more time on such heresies, but finally go to other sources from which to learn. If they do let me in peace… It’s no fun to fight such idiotism.

 E. Michael Jones' The Medjugorje Deception - Vindicated by Benedict XVI

I decided to offer this view to VoC's readers (thanks to P.N. for the link), so to consider the possible depths of Croatian treason.

I’m not competent to speak of Medjugorje as a whole, but I’m entirely deceived again at seeing who reveals the “greatest statutes of God’s Mother” (say in Krka, Croatia, a few days ago) The honour belonged to a recently resigned minister of Education Primorac, whose merit was such that the universities were selling the exams and diplomas to the students, and such and such that he was offered to join the “advisory team” of Benjamin Netanyahu, before he resigned (with PM Ivo Sanader)… (links in Croatian).

The "greatest" (thief forgiven) at the ceremony among them was also Miomir Zuzul… One of the most corrupt Croatian politicians who occupied Dubrovnik monastery so to teach his “diplomacy” etc. Whom you might have met at VoC already, the mean man who likes to admit they did some wrong things, and the promise of delivering Croatian national heroes to the ICTY for it, he kept. He said, “you will see it, we’ll do it….” And they did it…

Back to Primorac, now he promises Croatians “love, truth, moral, hope and honesty”!!!! It's more important than "financial crisis" which miraculously never knocks on their door.

Frankly, some Medjugorje priests often found such guys big: Primorac namely, as many others. Others must be “too small” as long as they oppose their treason and try to do something… pushed into desperation, so that there’s no obstacle to treason.

These are just a few most recent examples of Croatia’s current “religious” direction….The one that ruined fundamental solidarity among Christians, to the very core of the unity, so to forge the unity in treason, and the devil knows which "higher theology"...

It’s so difficult to address this question for there must be some (or even many) true priests in Medjugorje, too, but there must be some explanation for destruction of Croatian values too... And for human sacrifices, in particular. The mean, rich and unscrupulous reign, injustices are not corrected. If addressed (by an empty talk with no action), it's only to make the mean guys even more rich...

Although, my personal reconciliation position is: I can pray for Croatian priests, but not for their HDZ and similar politicians…. never again. For me too, all priests were saints, I was raised like that, but I’m no longer sure.  Rich, corrupt, traitors, voila their “statutes”. May God forgive me if I’m wrong, but I'm afraid I’m not. So who’s our enemy!? Inside. That’s the question that hurts…

39-45, No 267, Mai 2009

Gosp. de Lannoy – uz izgleda nezaobilaznu suradnju s gosp.

ENGLISH    HDZ DEMOCRACY: "TODAY, WE WILL CHOOSE...."
CROATIA IS A BIG COUNTRY!   VoC, 4 Jul 2009

Croatia’s “world crisis” should be the crisis of Ivo Sanader and HDZ alone!

It is over. The agony of Mr Ivo Sanader’s reign was marked by rare hypocrisy and unscrupulousness, during which he engaged the country into the most catastrophic semblance of reality that was meant to please and degenerate the electoral body.

He cleansed all real elites from the state offices in all functional areas of Croatian state activity (national security or military, economy, finance, education, etc.). There’s no urge to remind Croatia of the reality of his failed politics: His concilia of “reformed” nod-heads who serve as no more than his “shadow” has been quite telling, and scared! He certainly represented “half of the party” and was “popular” on the scene in his own making.

The theatre man moves into his backstage room, while on the parquet remain insolvent and indebted Croatia who dearly paid the entrance to see his interminable play! The horror of dramas he produced in honour of his HDZ and ICTY spectators left the public speechless for a long time, for he was capable of even worse. He staged his “credibility” at the “Altar” to which he sacrificed Croatia’s best knights, with no fear of guillotine, but he dropped the curtains and the audience can smell his waste.

His era is over, as no people lives off false appearances. He went “home.” He tried to cover his ignominious treason by re-invoking Franjo Tudjman, while he destroyed all that was truly European in former Tudjman's party. He plunged Croatia deeper into the Balkan mud than it was in the early 1990s.

Financially and militarily, Croatia is driven far away from the EU zone: Its finances and headquarters are in the Netherlands, in whose prison Sanader and HDZ shipped off Croatia’s best, particularly European officers, with an absolute zeal.

Croatia is in “constituency” with the countries such as Armenia, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Israel, Georgia, etc. It has little to do with the EU direction, hasn’t it. His finance and defence politics are most revealing. What is the key “legacy” of his “European politics” that this gangster sought to implement in Europe!?

In his own words: “Croatia will continue to support the Tribunal in the belief that the ICTY is serving the purpose for which it was established by the Security Council. As a member of the Security Council, and as a member of NATO and a future member of the European Union, Croatia will actively support the achievement of these goals, fully aware that they will be the measure to define the Tribunal’s legacy.” Should Sanader return to the politics: This it where he can place his candidature!

Thus the Great Beast (Rat) became “popular”, unlike Croatia which is worse off than ever. Perhaps, there’s no one “visible” to overtake the “sinking ship” within his own party, which is overloaded with his besotted marionettes. It took him a great effort to install them, and billions of foreign debt dollars that he wasted on their “European” image.

The anchor of borders with Slovenia proved to be frail when Sanader cracked a code of nationalism and produced his last, would-be patriotic play. In reality, this issue has been his diplomacy’s failure from the beginning. This editor revealed in 2000 that, contrary to Slovenia, Croatia didn’t figure as a “maritime country” in the registers of North-American international maritime companies. It didn't bother the prime minister: The person who was in charge of North American department at the Ministry of Exterior and in Croatian embassy in North America through all those years, with his own reference, has been only promoted to the highest positions in his government as soon as he came in power. Finally, she was his close friend (and perhaps still is).

Thanks to their “hard work”, not even Croatian language appears as Croatia’s official language (but “serbo-croate”) in official correspondence within the countries where they operated, which is clearly their omission to inform foreign institutions about the milestones of the young Croatian state, its language being one of them.

Shall the former prime minister now show off as a patriot, and not a coward, if he declares that he wouldn’t give up a single Croatian word as he wouldn’t give up a “centimetre” of Croatian territory! Should it be so easy to build a reputation on one’s own failures, omissions and neglect! The coward is a word.

Generally cowardly and week HDZ politics only confused Croatian people, deprived it of its basic existential principles and values, and particularly of national discipline, which will be difficult to re-establish and develop. His buddies have certainly no credibility, courage or authority for it. Pragmatic and “realist” as he is, Sanader runs away! His speech is a smokescreen that cannot hide HDZ’s failures and contradictions.

Contradictory international interpretations of his leave as well as of the current Croatia’s position also testify of duplicity that his opaque government style made possible. When they’re not strictly reserved, they serve various agendas, mostly anti-Croatian. They range from dressing him into a politician who’s been “worse than Tudjman” – to the one who left the party to “Tudjmanist hardliners” and “radical right-wingers”— to the one who "transformed the party -- once a bastion of nationalism in the Balkans -- into a Western-style conservative party". His double-talk made impossible a honest appraisal in a clear-cut language and a straight political direction of Croatia, which is his greatest achievement.

But, this is also a chance for Croatia to reassess its reality and recover its national pride. His hypocritical speeches don’t sooth even his compliant audience. Clap-clap, the play is over.

If he or his party were really “Tudjmanist” (the costume he hastily tailors for himself and his HDZ party on domestic scene), there would be no vacuum in Croatian politics, for there is Miroslav Tudjman, Croatia’s presidential candidate, who has solid reputation from his father’s era. He has never betrayed Croatian or European values. When he played a major role in Croatian state, Croatia was no more hated by the enemy but was certainly marked by some honour and reputation; it had self-respect and was respected by other countries. Why HDZ and their media persistently ignore what he’s got to say, if they’re truly democratic. He’s not a minor player and we should be entitled to hear what he can offer.

Mr Sanader underestimated European politicians if he put that much effort to remove all strong players. Unlike Sanader, Mr Tudjman (senior or junior) has never persecuted or injured those who wished to contribute to Croatia’s freedom and strength within civilized nations. Being an intellectual himself, he didn’t need to fight intellectual elites so to appear great and indispensible -- he worked with them.

Indeed, why our Europeans would need weak, dishonest and faceless hypocrites to deal with?

Croatia does have a better political offer than it seems, as well as a great potential to normalize the current situation. HSP, SDP and other parties, too, must have real talents to propose, but the media has never given them objectively the space, unless they were Sanader’s close allies. The effort of Mr Sanader to form an oligarchy with certain other parties' leaders should be defined properly:  They weakened Croatia to the point of creating ominous national security risks and economic chaos.

In a supposed democracy of HDZ, all elections begin with: “Today we will choose…..” (it's how Mr Vladimir Seks proposes Jadranka Kosor as HDZ leader and prime minister to their electorate body!) Why Croatian people cannot choose anything in that country on their own? It would be the only guarantee of stable politics and partnerships.

Furthermore, Sanader’s departure reminds of former communist Yugoslavia’s end. It’s due to a majority of such "visible" lobbyists, politicians and players that he deployed on political scene. Their groggy-logy discourse is getting unbearably reminiscent of the budget sessions of Communist Party of Yugoslavia at the end of the 1980s, during spiral inflation.... It's simply boring. But Croatia is not former Yugoslavia, and deserves a sound and free political assessment by Croatians alone.

Neither VoC, being located on another continent, wishes to interfere with Croatian politics – This editor and webmaster has never engaged directly in it. But I do wish a good luck to Croatia, with its talented people, without anyone meddling into its interior affairs from abroad (and particularly from the US), for Croatia is a big country – whatever their “lobbyists” may think about it. It shouldn’t be an easy target for its enemies.

Sanader and his cowards belong to the historical trash that will produce an unpleasant odour for some time still, but finally, he’s gone. The end of Sanader is not the end of the world nor that of Croatia – the "world crisis" of Croatia should be the crisis of HDZ and Sanader alone, nothing more or less! For, they're "world politicians."

VoC thanks to Miroslav Tudjman's PR team for the link to his site and proposes to our readers to visit it. Mr Miroslav Tudjman is Croatia's presidential candidate worth of respect.

Although Mr Tudjman doesn't fear to face even Sanader at the next elections, on the contrary -- he'd like to, VoC proposes that the latter places his candidature before the ICTY in the Netherlands -- he lobbied and served loyally only that suspicious institution through all these years!

Joel Anand Samy, Co-Founder and Trustee at Adriatic Institute for Public Policy sends us the FT Article Croatian PM quits as bid to join EU stalls (all highlights made by Mr Samy @ AI) - Thanks! I really love to see that “mafia” is under quotation marks, for mafia is Sanader's government itself! Still to be brought to justice! (VoC)

July 2, 2009

The FT's Neil MacDonald in Belgrade reports:

  • Ivo Sanader's departure leaves fears of a power vacuum as the government struggles to resolve boundary questions with Slovenia, the neighbouring EU member that has put Croatia's negotiations on ice.

  • He (Sanader) has also left the former Yugoslav republic in the throes of plummeting tourism revenues, widespread corruption allegations and an unfinished battle against organised crime.

  • Mr Sanader denied that he would try to keep his grip on power by setting his sights on the presidency next year. "I have decided to withdraw from active politics and not to run for the presidency," he said.

  • His credibility started wearing thin in the past year, as "mafia" violence struck Zagreb and the global financial crisis gutted tourism and investment inflows. The economy shrank 6.7 per cent in the first quarter, compared to positive growth of 2.4 per cent for last year and over 5 per cent for previous years.

  • Mr Sanader denied rumours that he was ill. Despite his protestations, he has stayed on as the HDZ's "honorary president", perhaps leaving the door open for him to return.

Over the odds...

Over the odds that there would be no good news from Croatia's way to Europe, Croatian prime minister Ivo Sanader resigned as a prime minister of Croatian government and from ALL political functions. He's also pledged not to run for president next year! Bingo!

VoC might take now a well deserved summer break after all these years.

Congrats to Croatia! And to Europe!

Croatia's "NATO standards"

Former HDZ's Minister of Defense Berislav Roncevic has been proposed – in a parliamentary epilogue to the countless corruption affairs out of which the top HDZ politicians came out "clean" – for a position of the Assistant to the NATO Secretary for procurement and supply. (JL, 30 Jul 2009 - HR) The opposition representative Nenad Stazic hinted to his 2004 purchase of trucks when Miss Ojdana Zuzul -- currently employed at the Allied Joint Force Command Headquarters Brunssum in The Netherlands – served as the head of the commission on the purchase of the trucks. This suspicious deal is said to have damaged Croatia for 14.8 mil Kunas (about 2 mil Euro), while all other offers were cancelled with justification that they were not compatible with the NATO standards. Naturally, their justification proved to be false, although various commissions were not allowed to see the missing report of now Lieutenant Colonel (!) Ojdana Zuzul and the Assistant Minister Ivo Bacic, nor to pose them the questions!

It seems that rather Croatian military procurement and supply procedures haven't been in compliance with the NATO standards, but that doesn't disturb HDZ on its way into the NATO nor does it prevent it from appointing Lt Col Ojdana Zuzul for a NATO logistics position in the Netherlands (2006) ! Following a nearly 5-year long process of collecting the evidence, all HDZ obstacles being in place and only partly removed, the police investigation would be launched against the former Minister, and possibly against his collabos, too. (JL, 30 Jul 2009 here and here)

This affair reminded Croatian public of other corruption affairs, notably, of that of former HDZ's Minister of Exterior Miomir Zuzul who had to quit his position so to turn the spotlight away from his gigantic corruption affairs, stop the leaks about it, and come out – "clean", as usual.  Same as his cousin Ojdana who would teach military logistics in Bosnia etc., now, he calmly intends to teach a "truly international student body" in Dubrovnik's Dominican Monastery about economy, diplomacy etc.!

At risk are only those who expose such affairs in today's HDZ's Croatia! Croatian top "leaders" never look for the criminals but for those who expose them. We've seen it in the exam trade affair: When the police arrest started, out of his knowledge, encompassing even HDZ's "ethics" head for "conflict of interests", Prime Minister Ivo Sanader publicly discouraged the investigation: "I'd like to know who initiated this!," he said.

In a more grotesque affair of child prostitution, the person who encouraged the girls from the educational center for homeless children to report the politicians and other elites who abused of them, has been proclaimed mentally unaccountable and is being imprisoned, in spite of circulating dreadful photo evidence showing the sexual act!

I hope it will be clear soon that also certain "war criminals" have been imprisoned in The Hague for they were preventing the war crimes! We've seen that Mr Zuzul admitted "HDZ/we did some wrong things" but real HDZ criminals are almost never punished - they're the most successful at criminalizing and hunting the innocent people. The most sinister accusations with no evidence whatsoever have being forged by HDZ & al. particularly against those who tried to impose the true standards, be it in Croatian military or in any other area!

FRANÇAIS   QUI NOUS A DIT QUE LE MOYEN ÂGE ÉTAIT SOMBRE ? (SUITE II)

ENGLISH   REAL ROULETTE!
VoC, 23 Jun 2009 Jurica and Mesic - Compulsive criminals: Croatia on a real roulette table !

Once they succumb to this temptation, the threshold to an even greater commitment to gambling has been crossed. This is especially true if they obtain money by loan fraud or embezzlement. These kinds of crimes enable gamblers to rationalize that they are not really criminals. The money is only "borrowed" so no one is being hurt. But there is constant pressure to repay the money, and counting on a big gambling win is seen as the only hope for doing so. This extends the spiral of involvement from more gambling to more and more illegal activities -- until the gambler is caught, seeks professional help, or really does hit the big win. (NASA)

Mr Neven Jurica hit the big win of 1,2 mil Kunas (about 166,000 Euro) as he placed his bets on Croatia's 2008 lobbying budget. The year of 2008 was marked by the government's betting that the "lobbying" in the US was the most important.  But this fellow seems to be a compulsive gambler who has spent more time gambling in Los Angeles than at his work (JL, 23 Jun 2009)! We saw at VoC that Mr Zuzul, his colleague who's "helping him a lot," had also spent more time in NYC than in his office during his winning days, but we still don't know how he hit the big win! But let's help Jurica for now... NASA.

On Croatia's inside betting areas, a very democratic president Mesic is very jealous: Germany, France and England were not under communist rule (he's not jealous of that!) but they "didn't have to "defend those who tried the criminals and even sometimes brought the verdict out of court," he said in his speech on WWII "antifascist combat." He's jealous because he wants to play eternally his communist strategy for no charge at all and hide the odds of the roulette wheel of his "democracy" such as Huda Jama and other massive graves that are being discovered on Croatia's way to Europe...  If the president of a state "of law" publically promotes such "judgments" -- out of court, why does anyone still wonder about recent assassinations in the heat of Croatia's streets, in plain day?

IA@VoC

Still silence about unjustified 1,6 mil Euro for US-Croatia "lobbying" in 2007...
ENGLISH   C'EST LE BORDEL !
PERSONAL OR NOT?   VoC, 21 Jun 2009 Time to close the bordel of US-Croatia "lobbying"...

In addition to my recent articles on my "Choses Merveilleuses" page at VoC, there are also certain recent updates here -- my very personal page -- on "successful experiment" in deep water, which is Croatia for the USA over the past years. It explains at least partly why this editor and webmaster cannot side with the US politics. Personally, it's clear now that siding with the US would put me back with the people for which I pretty much quit Croatia, once for good, as they penetrate, through their US contacts, the international positions through Europe.

I repeat that the Americans shouldn't be pleased with such "successes"; in reality, they're not in American interest. The attributes of their national security are being ruined, too. In particular, their credibility in international partnerships became irreparable, if it truly ever existed among the US policy makers with respect to Croatia. Anyhow, the USA change too fast... Again, honest people do exist in the USA as anywhere else, and my readers shouldn't take me wrong... But their deceptive politics enter nearly all professions and ruin them. What does it mean to be "professional" today, after all. Blindly obedient?

Hence, I showed who joined their ranks today and on what basis -- from Croatia's end. It's for the Americans to reconsider how far they can get with that. Croatia may want to reconsider its own direction, too, but, equally, it's up to Croatia.

I hope my time spent on certain lobbying themes hasn't been lost. Now, that's it, I suppose. I lost, however, my peaceful time for the prayer and for belle langue of my new homeland,  for its intense origin...

Things are not marvelous. The light of natural reason and not that of petrol or bordels is what we need to reestablish the order and partnerships. The truth and justice. The laws belongs to moral science, and to God, and it's vain to expect that a Human law forbids all evil.

However, I'm not indifferent to the fact that in Croatian Dominican Monastery the current teaching seems to be that God loves the rich, regardless of the means they use to acquire their fortune... , that the rich make the laws as they suit them, and that anyone protesting can only be sacrificed at their "Altar" because their glory is all that matters on the Earth. No Eternal or Devine laws, no rules or measures that Catholic tradition taught us, naturally.

Even without science, even if too small, we should recognize the work of spiritual ruin wrought by the money and by the violence of injustices. It deviates from reason, and especially from St Dominic's teaching about love of truth.

Hence, some things go to Croatia to deal with; some things go to God, the USA should stay away.

And this editor and webmaster goes her way. If the "lobbyists" -- unable to refute VoC's arguments and to accept the gage of the battle as honest men -- finally let me (perhaps, I convinced them somehow that they should?).

Should I make sure: I don't intend to apply to Zuzul's school but I appreciate the links provided by his lobbyists. Where to find the money for diplomas from the thieves, even if they win all the cases brought against them in Croatia?

They can certainly continue to study my articles and exercise their "virtues" from their state-sponsored formal and informal "public-relations" structures of porno-diplomacy. But they cannot count on my participation: It's at their cost.

C'est le bordel. The lowest class, but very expensive and Croatian government-sponsored. Even if the first class, what's bordel got to do with reason? And with education? And with defense?

If Croatian PM Sanader promised to "modernize the Church" and the US "attributes" such as M. Zuzul,  N. Jurica and G. Soros "helped him a lot" to come in power; not to mention certain Catholic elites; if he promised to "modernize the Armed forces" and Miss O. Zuzul was his strongest attribute for the NATO education of Croatia and neighboring Bosnia, from the Netherlands (!), if he was also the "best lobbyist", the rest is domino...

Such was modern US-Croatia "successful experiment".

An easy target that Croatia should have been for the "lobbyists", it took even the ICTY so that the "experiment" lacking in "professional staff" continues, and spreads. This very suspicious institution of the ICTY exercises the sovereignty over Croatia since its inception. This is the reality in spite of its lack of “professional staff” from the very beginning (see The Lion, the Fox and the Eagle, by Louise Arbour) up to now (Judge Patrick Robinson, President, ICTY). Somehow it was hard to get this message through, in spite of ever more striking evidence. It failed both as a political and judicial tool, but not many people can state it clearly and officially. Not even in Croatia, "cooperation" goes on.

It was so from the very first days of terror reign on Croatia's territories during communist Yugoslavia: Only unconditional cooperation with the communist party mattered as the ICTY cooperation matters today for HDZ's so-called "integrating" Croatia in the NATO and the EU. The false "educators", "leaders" or "lobbyists" indulged in all kinds of outrageous behaviour don't bring anything good to Europe. Apart from more injustices and more problems with "professional staff."

Yes, c'est le bordel.

ENGLISH   LOBBYING OR MONEY LAUNDERING (CONT'D)

Photo DIU

  VoC, 20 Jun 2009

Secret lobbying expenditures

At least two major events in the US-Croatia lobbying zone attracted the media attention since last year when I wrote about "Public relations and governments" and the "Lobbying or money laundering." (here)

In one week.

First, my insisting on a detailed expenditure list for Croatia's taxpayers regarding Neven Jurica's 1.6 mil. Euro spent on "lobbying" in a single Croatia's US office, in a single year (2007), contrary to PM Sanader's proposal to President Mesic to resolve the issue behind closed doors, annoyed HDZ to the point that I had to leave the academic amac-rb mailing list because of their insults.

Now, we learn that Mr Neven Jurica, the former US ambassador and current Permanent representative to the UN for Croatia, proved to be incapable or unwilling to justify his expenditures. He's said to have refunded 150,000 USD to the Ministry of Exterior from his pocket (!), but the issue doesn't seem to be resolved. The Ministry just confirmed the investigation had been ongoing for hundreds of thousands of unexplained "representation" dollars. (HRT and JL, 20 Jun 2009 - HR).

Next, Miomir Zuzul, Jurica's close ally and also the former US ambassador and former minister of Foreign affairs in Sanader's government, made his "Lobbying school" famous: His partner quit him for 2,5 million Kuna (about 350,000 Euro) spent just for traveling and "lobbying" instead for the University (it's his "private money," he said) over the past 2 years, actually since he announced that he occupied the Dominican Monastery so to "privately" educate "truly international student body" (I quote his website statement). (Dubrovniknet and JL, 18 Jun 2009 - HR). Would he be also willing to explain how he came in possession of the symbol of Croatian Catholic heritage in Dubrovnik built in the 13th century, or US-HDZ links serve as an explanation in itself?

Finally, let's ask Mr Zuzul to fill out his "application" form and answer his "International Relations and Diplomacy" questions, since he's "politically correct" and might be better informed about the "person" or "event" that "had the greatest global impact in 2008?", about the causes of the global economic crisis (thieves?) etc. Unless, the answer might be the persons like himself and the events such as "lobbying" or money laundering….  As for "the importance of Croatia's participation in the UN Security Council?" – the answer must lie in "lobbying" as well. Hopefully, his colleague Neven Jurica will elaborate on that issue shortly – under official investigation.

Yet another criminal issue (after exam/diploma trade) often dealt with by VoC has been on its way to be proved – by official investigation in Croatia. Obstructed by HDZ, but still...

IA@VoC

I removed all photos posted on 19 June and opened a new page, because of the abuse etc..... but the rest is still worth noting....

----

A few photos as I'm replying to the unscrupulous HDZ "lobbyists....." - sometimes they're so stupid it gets even fun... It's particularly cynical how they praise Sanader's trusted ally Miomir Zuzul and his lobbying successes, and HDZ in general. It can be very fun, but not without concern that M Zuzul  possesses now even the Dominican monastery in Dubrovnik dating from the 13th century! - so to teach.... "diplomacy". So what can they teach: "HDZ did some wrong things", M Zuzul admitted, and he said to be proud to have been part of it! It must have taken a special "diplomacy" so that he continues doing wrong things! And he'll also teach in that monastery: .... international economics! How to get rich by imposing huge expenditures to Croatia, selling or invading the country, and successfully justifying all that! Meanwhile, his relatives will "coordinate" the NATO's procurement and supply, and give the lectures to others, for they used to run military business for Zuzul's own profit in the MOD during and after the war, they can only "advance". Of course, all committees and commissions always find everything was done "right".... they're always "clean". Finally who wouldn't laugh how "knowledgeable" and "experienced" they are -- indeed so, when ruining and plundering Croatia and its historical, Catholic heritage!!! Although, I cannot just laugh at this... Thieves and gangsters overtook Croatia!?

With special thanks to HDZ lobbyists who provided most of the above links in praise of Mr and Miss Zuzul:)

19 Jun 2009

              see here (24 oct 2009)

Photos taken in front of my screen as I'm reading HDZ lobbyists : What makes me laugh, is the fact  that Zuzul lobby is so "successful", while this editor and webmaster, as well as entire Croatia, knows so well about their "successes" and "capabilities". While Mr Zuzul's wife runs his "Lobbying school" in the occupied Dominican Monastery in Dubrovnik, and his cousin Ojdana Zuzul, after managing Mr Zuzul's affairs in his profit in Croatian military in the 1990s, becomes "One of us" (page 27) at the NATO position in The Netherlands and thanks the NATO for "supporting them on their way," Mr Zuzul still may write in the "admission section" of DIU: "Two recommendations from those familiar with your work (recommendations from family members or friends will not be considered)." Ridiculous, unscrupulous. If I'm asked if I dare to post my current photos: I do. Captured on 19 Jun 2009. But how do they dare? What would Zuzuls educate us about? Things to be found out.

20 Jun 2009: Our "lobbyists" could see here how they scare me :) I might indeed apply to Zuzul's "private" school in Dominican Monastery if they send me more details (their links to diu.hr don't give sufficient student information!), so that they don't laugh any more how I cannot get my Msc. title and diploma in spite of all my courses passed and master thesis timely mailed to Zagreb (in 2001!). While the fact is: I cannot pay for their mistakes and sabotages, their constant regulations changes so that they be "in compliance" with law etc. etc. Their diplomas are worth nothing today!  Of course, I cannot get my diploma in spite of all work done on my end (they're not used to giving the titles for hard and honest work but just for the money and obedience to them!) since the current Faculty Dean was the best friend of the president of my thesis committee and PM Sanader's advisor! Such connections do change (ruin) one's career in Croatia! And I was supposed to pay even for that!? They must be too fun. It's not worth neither to me a tiny penny any more :) I hope the police will continue to do their work. As for me, I'll be happy enough that my writing about corruption in Croatia's education, as indicated at VoC (fr), too, proved to be a subject of police investigation in Croatia, although "it wasn't the government [HDZ] that was doing that" - certainly not!

ENGLISH   CROATIA'S "SECRET" LOBBYISTS

The Dominican monastery, Dubrovnik

VoC, 19 Jun 2009 Zuzul lobby in Dubrovnik's Dominican Monastery!

I only now learned Zuzul lobby has occupied Croatian Catholic heritage - the Dominican monastery in Dubrovnik, dating from the 13th century! For years already! With support of HDZ, of course! As HDZ lobbyists copy-paste the photos scanned from my old documents (God knows how they got them) via their "anonymous" forums so to praise HDZ, Mr Zuzul and his cousin O.Z. (Photo O.Z. posted by Ivica Ban "Orsat", her true admiror:)) saying that I don't dare to post my current photos, I wrote a little comment here. If they believe that the NATO and Rotary Club support them along with HDZ & their PM, we still can say how they do, correct? They don't honor the NATO at all. Contrary to the declaration of PM Sanader that the NATO will "defend" Croatia --  Zuzul/HDZ "lobbyists" only defend, via NATO now (?), what they stole to Croatia! And they think this editor and webmaster is "jealous"! Can anyone rational be jealous of such thieves and gangsters?

VoC, 13 Jun 2009 The gangsters and murderers, protected and honored in Croatia

Professional murderers trained by former secret, Yugoslav communist services still thrive in Croatia today -- as long as they serve against Croatians. The law protects them (20 years after the murder involvement, they're entirely clean), they occupy the most sensitive, highest positions in the Government service, they testify at the courts against other Croatians, they transmit their "expertise" to their family members who inherit their placement in the government through their criminal "merits".

Such is the case of Josip Perkovic. Under international warrant of arrest, he's listed among 19 most wanted criminals in Germany, the information about whom is worth 5,000 Euro in the EU countries. He was involved, with certain others, in murder of Croatian emigrant Stjepan Đureković in  München (Germany) in 1983.

Even in the early 1990s, when present Croatian president was still in HDZ, and well afterwards, Josip Perkovic continued his career in Croatia's military establishment with a particular focus on Croatian emigrants returning to Croatia to help to defend the country. Paradoxically enough, he was "qualified" for interviewing and selecting highly placed personnel issuing from Diaspora in Croatia's Ministry of Defense. (There are still some unexplained murders of Croatian emigrants joining the Croatian armed forces...)

In "reformed" Croatia, Josip Perkovic's son Sasa holds the position of national security advisor in president Mesic's office. Thus his "secret hand" in national security affairs of Croatia got extended, in spite of  his old age.

Just recently, he appeared in the Court in Split, Croatia, as a honorable citizen and sworn witness in a process concerning some secret service affair from the early war-time days of Croatia's independence : He testified against the suspects supposedly having kidnapped and interrogated the two of his former colleagues from the Yugoslav secret service. If he happened on the other side in such affair, if they were loyal Croatians, they'd probably be killed. (Some news about it can be found in Croatian, here).

If Croatia were to join the EU and adopt its legislation, he should be extradited. Whence more and more frequent hesitations are expressed in recent declarations by Croatian top leaders -- the gangsters and murderers, protected and honored by the president of Croatia and HDZ government, find it difficult to comply with the EU standards. For, they're so professional in hurting Croatians -- to death.

It wasn't difficult to anticipate...

The farmers gone in their tractors, by 4 PM yesterday, Croatian prime minister appeared the day after and withdrew the deal made with them on his government's behalf. He is in the 5th speed at the end, when "changing his mind" (lying to the people so quickly) because Mme Minister Kosor did represent the government in yesterday's negotiations. Suddenly, the appropriate ministry (Agriculture) needs to "examine" in detail all the points agreed with the farmers, PM says.

Normally we don't even know what the government signs in its agreements all over the world, not to mention the "details." More amusingly, PM's trying to tell us finally who's doing what in Croatia - thanks indeed.

To mention two examples emblematic of today's politicians: As if minister Kosor had something to do with the Homeland War or its veterans (much less than with farmers!), or his former foreign minister Zuzul, a pediatric psychologist, with being a diplomat and "consultant" for Bechtel and then a branch director for Livingston and Moffett and then his minister... Cheers!

If we only checked "appropriate" "functional area" of all his staff right now, his argument would fail. But he believes to have succeeded to fool the farmers, once more. Congrats to the "most successful" PM ever. They'll probably "appreciate" it a lot : Everyone should know by now that he rules only by cheating and lying.

The government down!- Dolje vlada!

No wonder Croatian farmers said they wouldn't like to live in the city since they spent the night outdoors waiting for politicians in Croatian capital to address their claims.

Croatian students, who also recently protested, paid them a visit overnight so to show their support.

A student was arrested for "blocking the traffic" (along with about 300 tractors lined up nearby?) . The media speculates it was because he whooped: The government down!- Dolje vlada!

As nothing seemed to be enough to assure successful negotiations, the southern border with Bosnia was blocked at the checking point by another group; more on the ready to join up from surrounding villages.

Thus, the government reps' showed up and promised to fulfill 80% of the farmers' claims (only if they'd quit Zagreb by 4 P.M.). PM Sanader didn't show up but he sent Mme Kosor instead. The ministers' faces require no comment.

Zagreb blocked by several hundreds of tractors...

Croatian agricultural sector was promised the milk price increase based on their production inputs price increase. However, only the citizens pay more to the stores, which have already increased their distribution price based on false promise to the peasants! It was yet another electoral promise the government all too easily turned down. But the milk producers across northern and central Croatia decided to talk to the prime minister Ivo Sanader in Zagreb ; thus, they invested the last money left to them in transportation cost so to get to Banski Dvori -- by their tractors.

So far the PM refused to allow them the access or to meet them. They wait on the streets, then at the Trade center Velesajam in Zagreb until they solve their problems... They brought up a set of requests that would enable them to continue production. They complain that their production cost due to daily input prices increases has become too high and they have no longer what to live off. (VoC)

BBC - REMINDER

HDZ gangsters – and the Americans our “liberators” still en vogue

"We [HDZ] are fully committed to fulfill everything we need" - Zuzul

We could imagine the wealthy gangster Miomir Zuzul in The Hague only on the other side of the trial bench in the process against the Storm : Zuzul lobby was far more explicit in anti-Serb campaigns (when it was popular, after the Storm) than average patriots and most soldiers who were just happy the occupied part of Croatia was free….

If VoC's loyal reader informs us that Holbrooke, in his book "To End a War", openly and unflatteringly referred to the Croatian army as his "junkyard dogs" - we can see from Zuzul's past interview to BBC that only HDZ is capable of doing all that's required. Zuzul's BBC interview reminds us, in his own words, that HDZ did "some wrong things" and he was a proud collaborator, but they're "clean" now. HDZ always does all that's "required," it's just that they have a "new approach."

Hadn't he spent his ambassador career "lobbying" in the NYC more than in Washington, D.C. where his office was to be in the late 1990s?

VoC's reader wonders again: "When he was an ambassador, Zuzul was at the same time a consultant for Bechtel which is very unusual. How can one properly serve two masters ? In most countries, this wouldn't be permitted, would it ?" No, but he's an incredibly rich man today.  It's what matters in Croatia.

Liberated in "mysterious" ways from all gigantic corruption affairs brought against him a few years ago, Zuzul is making his comeback to tell us that Croatia wouldn't be free without a faraway USA so to encourage the ongoing submission... "The Storm wouldn't happen if the US said 'No'" -- he informs us. Today, when the US deceitful agenda shouldn't be a secret for anyone. But he still represents it, at the ICTY now, on the wrong side of the trial bench. HDZ gangsters are still en vogue.

ICTY: Positively marked gangsters (cont'd)

The Carrot after the Stick (cont'd)

Photo Vlada.hr

  Voc, 7 June 2009

Why the gangsters give a measure of legacy to Europe (including Croatia)

"In the context of the ICTY exit strategy, discussed was also the storage for archiving documents when the tribunal ends its work. The prime minister [Sanader] proposed that the archives be stored in a neighboring country that is under the ICTY jurisdiction." (Vlada.hr, 3 Jun 2009)

Without commenting an already insipid "precision" and "transparency" of PM's statements (the devil is in the details), it's worth noting that this must be also an important "measure to define the Tribunal’s legacy" to be imposed to Europe and NATO. So far, no EU/NATO country would handle its top military documents in such an irresponsible  manner -- without even knowing where they'll end up. Sanader might be a model to Europe -- the US "stick" extorted from him unbelievable things, he did deserve a carrot, and a place at their table. The US "carrot and stick" strategy just works with him.

The pity is that even the most honourable Croatian generals had to end up in the ICTY prison -- with no evidence of their war crimes whatsoever -- so that the US and its intermediaries in Europe get in possession of the most detailed, and even most secret, military plans of the region. Congratulations to Sanader and Mesic.

Is Europe ready for such a "legacy" in their own backyard? Shouldn't it rather help release innocent victims from the ICTY -- and even their own legionnaire General Gotovina, before it's too late.

For, Croatian government, is not really Croatian nor European: The gangsters shouldn't give a measure of legacy to Europe by falsely accusing and persecuting the innocent men to whom entire Europe owns a lot. Even if supported by the US, or especially not then. The very origins of Christians civilization, in all its military and ethical dimensions, are menaced. The lobbying qualities of gangsters, approved by the US lobbies, count the happy days and tailor their career prospects in Croatia and Europe, while the innocent people are ruined.

Finally, a honest evaluation of the ICTY inherent practice of unjust accusations and internments, by qualified, unbiased European staff is overdue. Something the ICTY and Croatian government are missing dearly - and they cannot hide it. Correcting huge injustices should be a moral imperative for all European policy-makers and diplomats, as much as it's our own, at VoC.

ICTY: Positively marked gangsters

The problem of Staff: The ICTY and Croatian government

There's no crisis for Croatian politicians, there's no that particularly Croatian, historical sadness in the eyes which we normally find on the faces of the patriots who fought for Croatia (European, yes) with honour and principles.

Croatia's government pages [hr] were full of self-praise again; well, they've got "positive marks" from NYC regarding their cooperation with the International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY). We've seen already how much the evaluation costs in Croatian scheme: Everything can be bought and sold under the table.

Particularity of Government's trade with the ICTY reposes, however, in protecting gangsters (as long as they serve them) and ruining the excellent men. Hence, ICTY-Government Coop is going well.

For once, there's a reasonable explanation for PM Sanader good standing among big and mighty human trade center (Croatia remains guilty, though; wait and see below).

Judge Patrick Robinson [En], President, ICTY, gives it out – something you won't find at Vlada.hr:

“If we continue to lose staff at the rate of 27 per month it is not an exaggeration to say that one day the judges may come to work and find themselves alone. The Tribunal is doing all it can to retain its staff, but without appropriate assistance and concrete measures it will not be successful.”

So they get along quite well: Government of Croatia, too, has a problem of professional stuff. Yet, it doesn't prevent it from promising again, the qualified personnel – in the future [hr]. Perhaps their Committee for conflict of interests will sell the school exams more expensive now on.

Yet, they never get enough of justice – can Europe imagine a Sanader (popped up by NYC as usual), LOBBYING for exporting the "successful experiment" of "legacy" to Europe, where he hopes some day to obtain a powerful position.

The agenda is no longer a secret, Sanader is a would-be legalist (if not an American hand) of Europe :

“Croatia will continue to support the Tribunal in the belief that the ICTY is serving the purpose for which it was established by the Security Council. As a member of the Security Council, and as a member of NATO and a future member of the European Union, Croatia will actively support the achievement of these goals, fully aware that they will be the measure to define the Tribunal’s legacy.”

Let's remind us, who's to define the measure of "legacy" in EU and NATO: Gangsters in Croatian government [En]. It doesn't bother the ICTY. They need no professional stuff, but real criminals. As partners. Poor Europe –the "successful experiment" keeps spreading.

The journalists who normally accompany Sander to the USA see him already as the only candidate for president. Speculating on the latest local elections failure of HDZ (Vukovar, Split, Dubrovnik etc.), suddenly, the PM who likes to control all (interpreting here Mladen Plese), is not responsible himself but his local HDZ branches [hr], the "populists" and "rigid nationalists". It doesn't bother the same journalist to note that Sanader is the only one who's popular in HDZ and Croatia! Very much! Like G.W. Bush.

Hence, they're satisfied, which allows them to elevate PM Sanader as the only presidential candidate that can inherit Mesic's place, once he quits HDZ president and Croatian PM position where he "accomplished his political mission" – of ruining Croatia, its patriots, and its armed forces.

But Plese hides that Sanader "changed the place of residence" (on the paper only and for so many times by now) so to run on the list where HDZ calculated it would have most supporters. It's how he was more "successful" at local elections than his HDZ branches.

So much about a model of "democracy in development." So much about their "democratic", "tolerant" manners that make them so content.

Well, yes, there's still something original in this "experiment." They allow for one real candidate, Zagreb's local sheriff Bandic from the "opposite" strongest party SDP, but he won't present his candidature if PM Sanader decides to become a president (which he already did decide), Bandic will run Zagreb and fight Milanovic - the head o his own party. Sanader and Bandic make but one party, one man.

Hence, they're eternal. Instructions are out. Why then vote at future presidential elections when all is predetermined. They place their own men in the opposite party, and voila – democracy, all those goodies of "ex-communist" country become indispensable. Europe cannot wait for such a model (and the US even less so)?

For the moment, Croatia is promised to have them for good; while it's deep into "world crisis" Sanader and Bandic alone can manage. The crisis will be "more severe and last longer" in Croatia then elsewhere, informs the public Sanader's journalistic fan. All's good for the PM, still. When all is over, Sanader will get a great position within EU and NATO. The "qualified personnel" prospects are promised a great future in Europe. So they say. Congratulations.

Evidently, there's no crisis for Croatian politicians, there's no that particularly Croatian historical sadness in their eyes which we normally find on the faces of the patriots who fought for Croatia (and Europe) with honour and principles.

The NYC gave them a boost of confidence, although the problem of professional staff should have been addressed professionally, long time ago. Dismissed: both Croatian rulers and the ICTY that internationalized the injustice.

Without "powerful" envoyees like Sanader, the "legacy" of the ICTY cannot be applied against NATO/Europe soldiers. We've seen it already, guilty will be those who don't bend to the American way of delivering "justice" and war.

It explains why Sanader got the carrot - after the stick.

European Commission - Lorenzo Natali Prize 2009 (Cont'd)

VoC, 4 June 2009

Dear readers:

Thank you for your timely suggestions for submission of an article to EC-Lorenzo Natali on a "democracy in development" which is Croatia. I hope you won't mind that at the end, I submitted - This is not a joke....  Perhaps it wasn't your first choice, but...

No one from the government of Croatia and their allies seemed to be willing to participate in this democratic decision-making process for selection of VoC's article; unless they're too slow to accelerate via modern, fast-paced democracy machine - I thought they said they were in the 5th speed...

Being so democratic and transparent, unlike Croatian politicians, I hope ProPager / Prix Lorenzo Natali won't mind that I share with you my "Summary of journalistic work content as well as of its impact in English" - for which we can thank them, in particular, since they'll will give their precious time for its evaluation:

"This is not a joke: Zagreb politicians feel like in Beirut, and still safe?" evaluates the commitment to democracy, freedom and human rights by Croatian authorities and powers of influence through a set of their confusing and treacherous responses to blood-bathing, educational and other Zagreb scandals: Murder of Pukanic and Franjic of Nacional and Ivana Hodak; university exams trade; interference with justice, etc. It throws a new light on Croatia’s "successful" politicians mocking of justice, misinterpreting and undermining the World/European reactions and even its citizens. "This is not a joke…" drew a serious attention of Western institutions, think-thanks and media and increased international concern for freedom and security in Croatia – beyond unconditional self-praise of Croatian ruling elites.

Justice and Freedom are priceless. Even if this article doesn't win the Prize.

"Participation is not voluntary..."?

Whose problem is this, buddies?

Viva Democracia, Viva Tito

We recently heard from Croatian minister of interior, Tomislav Karamarko, a foreign policy statement - well, one no longer knows who's doing what over there; the backslide Ministry of European integrations used to do the job - , Croatian youth was a problem of Austria (and its police). Then, Tito's communist "youth," in Kumrovec, should be someone's problem, too, but no government's body comments their buddies...

HDZ's government likes to hear fat ovations in Croatia. Much louder this year than the last one... With some newborns - in spite of overall sterile politics of Croatia. It's a miracle. Tito's grandson announced his arrival.  And some clowns, too, are singing for us, and saluting us. Whose problem is that, ministers?

The World Criminal No 4 (correct me if I'm wrong) is re-born - Viva Democracia, Viva Tito. Thus "Tito is a legend - socialism doesn't die," they say... Huda Jama (one of many sites of Tito's victims) is not a "legend" though. It must be a problem of Slovenia, then?

And they celebrate....

HDZ'S ELECTORAL DILEMMAS

VoC, 19 May 2009

Croatia's "Bushs, McCains and Obamas" (HDZ) - Criminal and Hypocrite

Croatians must claim back $5 million award - and their General - from both the USA and Croatian government

What makes it so plausible to assume that hypocrisy is the vice of vices is that integrity can indeed exist under the cover of all other vices except this one. Only crime and the criminal, it is true, confront us with the perplexity of radical evil; but only the hypocrite is really rotten to the core. (Hannah Arendt)

If HDZ politicians thought to proclaim themselves Croatian "Bush", "McCain", "Obama" ("HDZ-u treba McCain [& Mr Sanader], a ne Obama", JL, 31 Aug 2008), and do as they like -  less than a year after, it should discomfort a little even their "models" in the US. Who they really think they are?

Last year, HDZ's highest officials and ministers distributed among themselves the roles of US politicians in anticipation of new presidential elections in Croatia. PM Sanader was probably supposed to continue to play the role of Balkan Bush, and Minister Hebrang, loyal to him almost unconditionally opted for his devotee McCain. Whooh, HDZ likes to be tough towards Croatians, tougher than the USA. But, HDZ's Secretary Jarnjak decided that Obama was more sympa (should M. Tudjman formally join together with HDZ), saying that he'd like Obama to win in the US while HDZ "still didn't discuss about their [HDZ's] party's Obama." Minister of Education Primorac found, however, that HDZ's presidential candidate should be "a combination of McCain and Obama" while Minister Kosor preferred McCain (and Palin) for "Obama's time was only to come" although she refused to compare US elections to Croatian ones...

Finally, the US is no longer proud of the situation HDZ government's "Bushs, McCains and Obamas" created in Croatia and the US ought to wash its hands, a little too late. Indeed, Croatian politicians don't seem to be able to rule themselves, not to mention Croatia and "South-Eastern Europe." They were only able to ruin Croatia and what was best in it. The list of their evils is hard to follow since then.

If they acted as tyrants, liars, and immoral gangsters towards Croatia, Europe and the rest of the world in the name of Croatia's image, they should consult recent reports in the US (even WSJ!): They made Croatia look almost like Afghanistan (VoC has always warned about "afghanistation" of Croatia and the "region") - shall they be invaded soon?

Their "American" dream seems to be over, too.

Shall they now admit foreign judges and prosecutors into Croatia so that they be, at last justly, investigated - as proposed by WSJ? Years ago, they sought help of, and admitted into Croatia MI6 and other  foreign agencies so to hunt Croatian Homeland "war criminals" upon falsely accusing a number of them. Their diplomatic effort resulted in $5 million award put on the head of Croatian general by the US, while the US Journal claims now to have invested in vain $500 million in Croatia since 1997/1998. Croatia obviously used it for strengthening their gangster rule, and for their all too praised "full political support for the ICTY." That's what their "unconditional" cooperation with foreign courts meant, but now they're offered a chance for real investigation, based on real crimes. Shall Croatia's "Bushs, McCains and Obamas" accept it?

Still today, the US sends Biden to discipline the "region" - and still with prior Croatian support ("Catholic friar advised Biden" JL, 25 Aug 2008). Who really disposed of USA's $5 million, that is $500 million invested in injustices? What millions mean for them after all - they get it "overnight" in Croatia. Croatia has become an attraction for foreign trade, and for trade with innocent people's heads, too. (Sanader used to threaten us, “The heads will fall.”)

If others conveniently forget it, at least those that still call themselves Catholics and Croatians shouldn't. We should claim back at least those $5 million, from real Bush, McCain and Obama, and/or from those who called themselves so in HDZ. Otherwise, they should stay away from Croatian affairs - the latter ones, in particular - if there's an ounce of dignity still to be claimed by Croatians. And if we really care about Croatia's national security - a precondition of economic freedom as well.

English   Modern political Croatia in pictures

VoC, 17/18 May 2009

A few loving political pictures of today's Croatia...

General Glavas's son (on the left) burns HDZ flag upon the verdict pronounced against his father (10-yr prison) - who regrets that he helped the monster of Sanader to come to power. SDP qualified his verdict as internal HDZ's turmoil, the result of which is that Glavas was convicted for war crimes. His new party supporters (on the right) promise political retaliation. HDZ probably wanted to prove it was capable of condemning its high officials...

Hence, "the highest" gangsters still rule Croatia, although "David against Goliath" combat has only now been announced between HDZ and SDP (local elections in Croatia), although the visible parties all look like Goliath to ordinary honest citizens - too small to be seen by them. Ah, where have they been when "David and Goliath" played and re-played....

"Mr Bush will defend us" after all, as PM Sanader announced recently; on the way to Afghanistan... Those two Croatian guys in the middle seem to be ready for... for war, don't they... (on the left). On the right, some "WWII" faces at recent Bleiburg commemoration; hard to tell who looks more innocent and excited, those on the left, or those on the right - but only the latter ones excited Croatian Minister Tomislav Karamarko who said, however, it was a problem of Austria.... Thus, the apolitical readers might subsequently conclude that those on the left are the problem of the USA.

Yet, none of such intimacies present a novelty in Modern Balkans: Tadic (Serbia) and Sanader (Croatia) seem to get along quite well, as well (in Belgrade, 20 Mar 2009).  And his "secret" lobbyists ask if this editor still believes in love: Of course. All of them, too - it's logical. So much about foreign affairs in the picture of the Balkans. What Croatian government thinks (if we may know), is it good or bad? Finally, it costs so much... The EU and NATO seem to have gotten very expensive (and not very fair) partners. But neither the past should be forgotten (on the right).

And shouldn't they relax a bit... They're doing all this for us? Wooh.

God, what have they done?

Not once, Croatian governmental persecutions, falsifications and confusions deserved the title of the Treason of the Century at VoC. All corrective comments, based on publically available sources and many (contradictory) statements by Croatian government itself, were considered by the "secret" governmental "lobbyists" as espionage, sabotage, and so on and on. For they were going into the NATO, into Europe. And how far did they get? (more)

Dear [ALL]:

(....)

I cannot follow all the news on a continuous basis, but I believe I captured pretty well the essence of it : Unfortunately I was right about Croatian governmental practice.

Only this evening I could listen to the entire report by BBC (I will add an important remark below, if I may) while I read quickly other news right away.

We see from all this how HDZ’s policy failed : They simply neutralised Croatian resistance to crimes and corruption by advocating the view that it would take a generation or two to get rid of communist practice; hence, they embraced such practice today as “most successful leaders ever.”

Unfortunately, one of the key tools of crime progression was the ICTY; the cost of destroying Croatian forces and its best Western-trained officers will only grow in the country with ill defined right to defense and not to mention notions of war crimes – it only served as a blackmail to the corrupt members of the government.

It’s ever more costly not only in terms of security but also in terms of economic development. With almost half of the state budget input in defense in the 1990s, the country might have incited positive spillovers through all sectors like in number of other countries that were faced with high defense expenditures. Croatia had a set of circumstances conductive to it but the politicians were busy with securing their short-term personal gains. (So many authors can show this: Hitch & McKean; Hirschey, Papas, Payne, Sahu; Quade E. S.,  Schiller etc etc etc)

There was no real economic policy, which could be justified to some extent by the war condition and reconstruction of the country except for those who only sought their personal profit… But today it seems to be a real chaos. One is simply not smart if he or she didn’t get rich…

The high governmental officials simply don’t have the skills to integrate the positive external pressure and reforms with the existing system – the changes are rude and unstable and serve only the purposes of proving a compliance with external demands (theoretically only); evidently, both the assessment of current situation and decision-making on the future path are confusing, unclear, and even inconsistent. Croatia is now in the situation that it was able to skip in the 1990s: it produces different reports and gives different public statements for different parties: one for the NATO, other for the EU, and yet another for domestic public and so on and on; I wonder if their messed-up paperwork surpassed the communist bureaucracy… One cannot even read it more than couple of pages (I tried to read some stuff on their foreign affaires site, or whatever it’s called; I gave up quickly….)

I wonder that the EU and other international organizations don’t see this; at least they don’t buy their diplomas like many belonging to Croatian elites… I wouldn’t doubt their expertise, but  it’s worrisome… It’s a poor way to train local talents in Croatia….

This brings us to my next point [...]: I agree that the economic freedom is necessary, but like you and other mainstream media people say, there are no rules. The transparency rules can only help assess the current situation but they cannot solve the problem of economic freedom (based on skills, hard work etc.).

And about executions:  Their threats no longer sound stupid and funny. I didn’t follow all details, hence I’m restraining from serious comments about involved interest-parties. However, we can see that Croatian top politicians purged all opposition so to impose their gangster rules (not so long ago, president Mesic called Mr Cacic a “gangster” – but then they all found their common interest…)

Finally, let me return to BBC report: I would like to mention another reason I make a note on security-economy linkage (without even mentioning security precondition to economic freedoms and vice versa– I adopt here the term from AI reports so to skip some development theories well-known to us on the West… I assume we understand what it means…)

BBC offered a great report, but it showed certain insensitivity regarding the crimes in 1991 Vukovar. How such a tragedy and heroic battle (one of the greatest in military history of the past century) can be put in the context of crimes and corruption that erupted on such a wide-scale today? It hurts, even if it comes from BBC…. We mourn all innocent victims and we honour war-time Vukovar, it shouldn’t be dirtied by what the criminals do. As for the rest, bravo. It informs us much better than Croatian media. (I will re-read.)

Sincerely,

IA@VoC

In spite of all government's persecutions against its economic, political and intellectual alternatives, Croatia hasn't advanced, not even in the eyes of the world's think-tanks, on the contrary:

FREEDOM HOUSE - 2009 ANNUAL STUDY: REGION FACES BIGGEST DROP IN PRESS FREEDOM

CROATIA'S JOURNALISTS MURDERED AND ASSAULTED

"(...) The level of media freedom is at an all-time low in Croatia and it is worse than the days under Croatia's authoritarian ruler Franjo Tudjman," said Joel Anand Samy, co-founder and trustee of the Adriatic Institute for Public Policy.  "Our independent think tank is aware of reports from independent journalists and media groups in Croatia receiving death threats and even direct warnings from Croatian politicians.  In a number of cases connected to investigative media reports, Croatia's government officials have imposed censorship.  Croatia's state-controlled media and the government's significant ownership in the economy which is manifested through providing media advertising revenues further undermines media freedom.  Those directly affected are its citizens and taxpayers."

Freedom House Executive Director Jennifer has urged the Obama Administration to take notice of the rising threats against journalists around the world.

The cat is certainly not a domestic one, so we don't know if it's vaccinated... ," said the head of his Information office for JL. Mesic's dog has killed 6 cats so far and Mesic supposedly attempted to save the next one. And he said, his dog had a "good character." But the cats, too, seem to have had enough. Mesic can mock only of human victims caused by his former ideological mates (wasn't he an active "witness" - highly positioned communist?) - his character doesn't change. It is mad to condemn expressing reverence to the victims and not the perpetuators (but it's a trend in Cro gov't). Thus the cat must have been mad...

Proud - of what (cont'd): Vojni Ordinarij proud,  too...?   VoC, 7 Apr 2009

Follow-up on 7 April 2009 : Proud - of what?

Treason - with the blessing of Catholic Church in Croatia? or Catholicism of Judas

I wrote [on 14 March 2005]  that there were little good news [in Croatian] emerging from the NATO Seminar in Dubrovnik, Croatia, opened on March 12 [2005],  with the quest “Towards Euro-Atlantic Integration: Progress and Challenges in Southeast Europe,” organized by the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in cooperation with the Croatian Parliament.  It’s when Canadian senator Pierre-Claude Nolin insisted that [falsely] indicted general Ante Gotovina cannot remain free if Croatia will begin any serious NATO membership negotiations.

No HDZ's general or HDZ's high official present at this Seminar opposed this “logic” [general Ante Gotovina is French legionnaire as well]: They all obeyed and consented to make "sacrifice" in living men. Real criminals will never be punished, US diplomats signalled….

But then we didn’t know that Croatian treason was so deep, that I. Miklenic from Glas Koncila (Voice of Council) would be declaring “bonne nouvelle” - « Finally a compromise » ["Ipak Konsenzus," i.e., "Union in Treason", 18 Dec 2005] when general Ante Gotovina was arrested in Spain and shifted to The Hague. He should be sacrificed for Croatia as Jesus Christ, various voices calmed down the faithful Croatians who were about to protest…

Today, when the head of Military Ordinarij Juraj Jezerinac [in Croatian] – ignoring a deep problem and strange contradiction (paradox!) of global military politics - claims that by joining the NATO “our Catholicism will get even more opportunities for its realisation”, it is as if the Church gave, once again their support to Croatian politicians for their treason. In nomine Patris et Filius et HDZ (Sanader and Mesic)….

More than that, it is revealed to us, once again, that we don’t share the same security concerns and the same “Catholicism” (as if Jesus Christ told his apostles to surrender! And not to fight for their faith etc.)

This is yet another sign that Croatia is betrayed – from top-to-down…by Croatian elites. The Church officials have also participated in this treason, very actively. We know all that, but sometimes we’re not such "believers."

We're not proud, as Bush and Obama, of Croatian treason.

Hence, it’s not “our Catholicism” nor Catholicism of Croatian people.  It’s a path to a “higher theology” – that is not our own, as announced by historians of "global religion", from the milieu of those who tailor modern global wars. It's "Catholicism" of Judas.

Why Croatians should be such "Catholics" while The ICTY trials are going on? Why such humiliation? It's not for our faith, to be sure.

IA/VoC

See also: HDZ is not Croatian religion, Sanader is not Croatian God

So we should believe that Bush and Obama are new "Saint Louis" for the HDZ and Church top officials in Croatia? While they are golden servants who will equip their wars and spread our Faith...

What an inversion of the Faith...

Finally, Saint Aquinas, can you believe this?

VoC

English   WE WON'T CHANGE: IN NATO COUNTRIES, WE DON'T TRY OUR BEST SOLDIERS AT THE HAGUE TRIBUNAL ETC.

  VoC, 5 Apr 2009

Proud – of what?

Is the NATO, too, losing direction?

Early this month of April 2009, on the way to the NATO summit in Baden-Baden, Germany, several world leaders, not very much admired through their national top-down or down-top military structures, expressed their satisfaction with Croatia’s prospect to enter the NATO. Canadian press showed briefly a picture of Canadian prime minister Steven Harper with Croatia’s president Stipe Mesic – also the last president of former communist Yugoslavia.

Croatia signed some protocol again so to start the NATO entry procedure together with Albania – non-transparent for the public, same as recent “Mediterranean union” protocol under not-so-popular French president Nicolas Sarkozy's guidance. (In Croatian: Hrvatska primljena u mediteransku uniju)

“It will be easier now to remove the Slovenian obstacle towards Croatian entry into the EU” – encouraged is Croatian prime minister Ivo Sanader, as if Slovenia were Croatia’s enemy, as he regularly tries to convey to Croatian public via media….

For almost a decade and half, all Croatian talks of the EU entry only serve the false elites so that they remove the best Croatian soldiers of the Homeland war far from Croatia's life (even those Western-trained!), and open the path to old communist style of governance in the silence of complot.

The US president Barack is naturally proud of such Croatian ally (In Croatian: Obama: Ponosni smo što nam je Hrvatska saveznik). Meanwhile, Strasbourg is burning…. (In French: Strasbourg en «état de siège»)

It’s a bad omen for Europe, all together.

What is this dangerous turnabout that NATO makes in Croatia, which relies on such compromised politicians?

If there were an ounce of pride in all this, Croatia would have refused all military talks with NATO as long as its best, innocent, western trained generals are tried at The Hague’s tribunal. Until they’re liberated of false accusations. But the ICTY does the job for the US according some US sources (Charles Ingrao, in Croatian: Znam da SAD nije htio uhititi Karadžića).

For whom Croatian government really does the job on its presumed way either in NATO or in the EU (the latter being only a symbolic talk that the government has already begun to wind down, all treasons being put in place)? What does Croatian government while making the world elites so proud aspire to via international institutions, at a horrible price for Croatian people?

The same shadowing issue accompanied Croatia’s seat in UN Security Council : Croatians have been quickly informed that their representatives would get above their own national interests (not to be mentioned!) and play some international role that has never been defined clearly regarding Croatia’s advantages. Only the losses…

So far, all the public is being clearly informed about is that the former communist leaders and their obedient allies are the qualified personnel to lead the country into the “Euro-Atlantic” integrations;  that NATO will cost a lot Croatia, both in blood (Afghanistan etc.) and in money (annual membership fees and investments), but if that blood is spilled for Croatia’s defence (Homeland war) they can only be tried as criminals at various tribunals;  that Slovenia will obey Croatian authorities now when they’re supported by NATO; that Croatia must exercise its influence (pressure) so that the Lisbon treaty be ratified (finally, some role in EU to play!), etc.

Given all the facts on the ground, NATO sounds almost like a threat to Europe!

As if the so-called privileged partnerships in the spirit of "more reforms and less nationalist talk" in the region were forged against Europe – not even the enemy of Croatia is known. Slovenia perhaps. Italy? Several years ago Mesic clashed with Italian authorities. And who knows who’s next in Europe...  Only the “leaders” are privileged.

Is NATO definitely losing its direction via its move in Croatia? Croatian government has certainly lost its own. The “year of the Balkan” is marching in the unknown: If they march so proud, we’d like to know against whom really.

If president Mesic was praised in 2000 for not depriving Croatian people of a different view but of the arms (In Croatian: Crkva i opozicija), they advanced to the point to block every clear sight of the opportunities (advantages) and the risks (threats), of enemies and allies.

There are no objective views, no clear visions about these issues in Croatia. In the worst-case-scenario, they cannot be heard; in the best-case-scenario, they don't weigh anything in Croatia's decision-making.

Serbian spy's trial lifts cloak on his CIA alliance

As Milosevic's intelligence chief, Jovica Stanisic is accused of setting up genocidal death squads. But as a valuable source for the CIA, an agency veteran says, he also 'did a whole lot of good.'

It was here in 1992, as the former Yugoslavia was erupting in ethnic violence, that a wary CIA agent made his way toward the park's gazebo and shook hands with a Serbian intelligence officer.

Jovica Stanisic had a cold gaze and a sinister reputation. He was the intelligence chief for Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic, and regarded by many as the brains of a regime that gave the world a chilling new term: "ethnic cleansing." (...)

Now facing a trial at The Hague that could send him to prison for life, Stanisic has called in a marker with his American allies. In an exceedingly rare move, the CIA has submitted a classified document to the court that lists Stanisic's contributions and attests to his helpful role. The document remains sealed, but its contents were described by sources to The Times. (more)

("In politics, one says one thing, does a second and thinks a third".)

DOGME MONDIALISTE

  VoC, le 25 février 2009

Sanader + "l'EU + l'OTAN" = TPIY

The lesson learned (terrible warning or "new future"):

"No one would fight for this state" (Croatia)

(Bush & Obama only...)

(source)

As we know, Croatia currently strives to get into the NATO. The real criminals will never be punished, we've been already informed... Even the ICTY gave the assurances to Mr Sanader that no more indictment would be raised by them.  So they all "cooperate", Mr Sanader is helping all Croatian elites...

Thus, every document that's "missing", that even "doesn't exist", that is to be found only under the "EU pressure" would accuse, in advance, the one that even "Glas Koncila" (Catholic weekly from Zagreb) invited to surrender and sacrifice himself for Croatia -- General Ante Gotovina. We should unite in treason... Not in fight for justice and peace...

And what "peace" Croatia does have today, in Sanader's and Mesic's Croatia. Apart from being "in banana"?

Well, Croatians began to truly hate the Serbs only after unjust accusations against innocent, professional soldiers who were to be sacrificed for the "young democracy." Now, even the Serbs are to be pitied, given that Croatian authorities wish to "democratize" them, too. (Promised.)

Next, I was told today a striking truth: 'Why to you care about the powers in Croatia, today, no one would fight for this state any longer.' Yes, I know that. It took a former military police instructor in Mate Lausic's unit (former head of Military police) to crystallize this truth. This person fought lately in Afghanistan and finally made some good living.

Finally, neither Mate Lausic would fight for that state any more. This officer was so trusted in the past that he was providing for president Tudjman's security. Thus, those who "cooperate" in Sanader's "young democracy" can send their former troops to Afghanistan etc., and go even testify in The Hague (ICTY) against Croatian operation "Storm." I assume, they no longer call their troops "cretins, idiots" during instruction - since they would no longer fight for Croatia.

"The pitiable is the Commander whose army is disciplined by Military police”, said Mate Lausic to The Hague (Dnevnik.hr:  Den Haag, 27 Jan 2009) Hence, he's not responsible for anything.

This is the peak of Croatia's "successful experiment" and Croatia's "democracy". No one would fight for it. Pitiable are, in fact, the world elites who rely on such allies that wouldn't fight ("even") for their own country! Is this the military objective of "globalization", of global courts, of global governments?

Then what do we fight for? For whom? If we do fight for Croatia, even by "pen" (bytes used by my website), HDZ will attack with ruining one's career, with false accusations, with aggressive pornography (resembling to the police files of rape victims), etc.; so, their funs who "cooperate" express their disagreement with my website by writing: "Stub her, stub her for me, too." This, too, must be "the EU pressure."

Bravo to Croatia's elites! Real criminals. I didn't believe this was possible in Croatia.

Organised crime

Croatian authorities are "fighting organised crime"?

According to Croatian press, the Polish police made a video-recording of their operation in Gdanjska, Poland, yesterday. A so-called Croatian citizen was arrested with 32 kg of cocaine, said to be several million of Euros worth. It’s also said to be the largest ever drug booty on the territory of Poland. The arrested M.K. holds a Croatian citizenship, but he “never was and he is not the resident of Croatia.” This, too, must be due to the "EU pressure"?

If that’s true, and by all evidence, it is, the Croatian authorities must be congratulated for “fighting the organized crime” so to get into the NATO, the EU and so on and on.

Will Croatia’s minister of interior be replaced again, would it be simpler if the prime minister resigned, will any of this happen? I doubt it it will happen "by itself".
